Validation Registered Training Organisations are required to validate courses and outcomes at regular intervals to ensure quality training and assessment are maintained. As our organisation operates remotely across Australia, we wanted to investigate how we could bring assessors, industry and management together through the virtual classroom, to conduct quality audits. )
In 2008, employability skills were added to the requirements of quality training and assessment. Qualifications in the VET sector aim to skill employees to work standards, and we welcomed the introduction of these skills to the qualify requirements of courses. Click HERE to see a presentation.
Assessment Validation is a meeting at which assessors and industry get together to audit the assessment tasks, tools and methods used by the RTO to check whether they are valid, reliable, flexible and fair. Validation may also include samples of work submitted by students to check the rules of evidence. Click HERE to see a presentation
